| Introduction | I'm a half-Polish and half-Arabic American who thinks he is a Latino. My wife is from Bolivia and recently became a naturalized American citizen. I speak and read enough Spanish to get myself in trouble but I'm improving daily. My real sports passion is hockey. I follow the Nats mostly because my brother and father are big fans and I enjoy going to the games to spend time with them. I would love to the see the Nats become competitive because my father is not getting any younger (he will be 77 in April) and it would be nice for him to root for a good team before he departs this earthly realm. My wife hates baseball, but does enjoy going to games when the weather is nice so she can sit outside and drink a couple of beers. Incidentally, my wife is a hockey fanatic. Although not a huge baseball fan, I enjoy the atmosphere of the game and the quality time it affords me with my family. |
