| Introduction | Dr. Jacquie received her DVM degree from Colorado State University in 1998 and practiced veterinary medicine in Boise, Idaho for 10 years before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2008. She grew up in Southern California and received her B.A. degree from California State University, Long Beach in 1987. In 2001 she became a certified veterinary acupuncturist through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and has since focused her veterinary skills on using Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine; acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutritional therapy for small animal health care. Dr. Jacquie is an active member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Botanical Medical Association,International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. In March 2009, she will be attending the annual meeting of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is married to Richard and has two children, four dogs, two hens, and one rabbit. She enjoys karate, yoga, gardening and running. |
