Introduction	I am a sixty something, retired nurse and adjunct instructor for a local college. I originally hail from the south side of Chicago- but moved to the northwestern area of Illinois some years ago. It is here I met and married my wonderful husband. Here in our lovely rambling ranch house we have worked together for 9 years to build a peaceful, harmonious home we share with one very pampered cat. Who - you will notice - kindly decided to join me in this my first blogging experience.
Interests	avid reader, also a fan of audio-books, going to Renaissance Faires in period garb, clowning around, crafting and cross stitch
Favorite movies	Gone With the Wind, Kate and Leopold, All the Harry Potter movies, (Not a movie - but a miniseries) The Tudors
Favorite music	Classical, Easy Listening, light Jazz,Rock from the 50's & 60's, some Country
Favorite books	anything by Louisa May Alcott,Jane Austin and the Bronte sisters, as well as Wm. Shakespeare. Love the Cat Who series for light reading
