| Introduction | Cristina Melendez is the Chief Education Officer/Founder of Beyond Limits Consulting. Before being a business owner, she dedicated most of her professional career to public service as an educator and community advocate. She believes that it is her responsibility to create opportunities that ensure all families and schools achieve to their highest potential. Cristina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Policy and Analysis and Management from Cornell University. She holds two Masters degrees from Teacher’s College, Columbia University in Organizational Leadership, and Bicultural/ Bilingual Transcultural Education. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focus is looking at Latino parenting practices. |
