| Introduction | Hey everybody, my name is Tim Winstead and I am a cartoonist in every sense of the word.....except I'm not getting paid for it. You should know that I have been drawing cartoons since I was old enough to chew on a pencil. Sometimes even now when 'tooners' block has set in, I'll grab a trusty pencil....or whats left of one and set to chewin'. This is habit and not a good one I might add, but for some reason, it is helpful.After a bit...the block fades and another 'toon is born. The goal of this blog is cartoons and cartooning. Doesn't matter the skill set, nor does it matter if you draw better than me. Fact is.....there are way better artists out there than I could ever hope to be.....but it's not all about who is better. My angle is to have fun with it. What I offer is a place to talk cartoons. To ask questions about methods..media..to pick the brains of others. (no zombies allowed) I also want to touch on 'toon related subjects that you have an interest in. So, please..if you wanna talk 'toons, you can e-mail me at otb666tw@gmail.com. If I don't have an answer for you...I'll find it. Remember : It's never too soon to 'toon. |
