| Introduction | I'm Mom to two wonderful children. I work for a trade association as a policy analyst and my dear husband (DH) used to work on Capitol Hill as a staffer to a Member of Congress, but now he is job hunting. We are both originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts and moved to the metro DC area in December 1994 so that I could start work on my Ph.D. at The George Washington University. 10+ years later, I am A.B.D. but not working on my dissertation -- and my "clock" is up. I guess "life happened" and my dissertation lost a priority placement with everything else going on in my life (predominantly my children). |
