| Introduction | Avis Adams lives in the Puget Sound area of Washington State on a small farm, where she loves to garden and write. She teaches English composition, Children’s literature and creative writing at a local community college. She is an award winning poet with many poems published in such literary journals and online zines as Poetry Motel, Anderbo, and Perigee. Avis was both born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where she shares a deep appreciation for the parks and local history of the region with her husband Mike. They love to travel and have been to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, Canada and Mexico. They especially love to visit their daughter in Portland, Oregon and their son in Santa Monica, California. They love to hike, bike, ski, and hang out! |
