| Introduction | I feel as if I have finally discovered that hidden place that I've been searching for over the last decade. It is the place where I want to plant my feet and where I want to grow. For me this place is the world of photography. As a child growing up, I focused most of my energy on success in sports, particularly basketball. This continued into high school and college and oh how the game brought so much passion and fulfillment to my life when I was playing. During my sophomore year in college I spent a semester studying in Rome. After my travels across Europe I still did not know which direction my life was headed in regards to my career. I graduated with a degree in education and went on to teach 1st grade for one year and 6th grade World Culture for two years along with coaching. But something was still missing. After returning to graduate school to pursue my MBA and giving birth to my first daughter, I finally realized my dream to become a photographer. This past year I began pursuing my dream. |
