| Introduction | My name is Roza Ibrahim (Roza) from Maldives which is a very small island nation with white sandy beaches and crystal clear lagoons. I am married and have a daughter (8) and a son (6). I have been in the field of teaching since 1993, and have been involved with students from all ages and levels. I graduated from La-Trobe University, Australia in 2000 and I completed my postgraduate education in Higher Education in e-learning at Macquarie University, Sydney in 2009. I have been working at Centre for Open Learning, Maldives National University (MNU) as a lecturer for about 6 years and this semester I am teaching Study Skills which basically addresses all the skills students need in higher education like presentation skills, reading skills, writing and note taking skills, referencing and the like. In addition of my teaching, I am coordinating two courses, one in teaching filed and the other Human Resource Management filed. |
