| Introduction | My name is Meli and among my numerous titles is “Neisi Leka’s Mom”! I am a home cook, living in the high desert country of the United States’ Southwest. I have also spent much of my life in California, as well as living in Hawaii and American Samoa. In regards to the art of home cooking, I come from a rich heritage of skilled, creative women. I can’t remember NOT cooking! I learned to use kitchen tools as naturally as I learned to find my way around a box of crayons! My hopes for this Blog are that it will be a comfortable little nook where Neisi Leka and I can share our culinary trekking with friends and family we already know, as well as to open up our kitchens and hearts to new friends. |
