| Introduction | Plant geek, part-time homeschooling mom, partner, plant friend. I got my PDC in 2008. I created this blog because at the time I found nothing permaculture related that addressed the sometimes harsh climate of Tehama County CA. It's a tough place to revitalize. Our land is growing zone 9,extreme Mediterranean climate(no rain for months), oak woodland-savannah, roughly 21 inches of annual rainfall(maybe), intensely hot summers, and clay soil, of course. |
