Introduction	Jan Copeland, Owner I live with my retired DH, Don and son Marcus. Daughter Amy, grandson Drake live about an hour away, Daughter Kari and DH Donnie and grandchildren Emma and Hayden live just a few blocks from us and son Chris lives in Galveston, TX. I worked with my family's trucking business all my life and in 1998 had to opportunity to open a quilt shop. Soooo-I left the family business and went to work doing something I love--quilting. Now I get to go to work and play all day with fabric. I have been quilting for about 35 years and not a day goes by that I have not had a needle and thread in my hand. I love my customers and started longarm quilting for hire a few years ago at the shop. This gives me an opportunity to work with even more quilts and help my customers bring their quilts to life.

Favorite movies	Any Elvis Presley movie (have the whole collection), almost any and all westerns, John Wayne movies
Favorite music	Country Western and Oldies (1950/60/70s)
Favorite books	Don't have time to read unless it is a good quilt magazine.
