Introduction	Thank you for visiting my blog "Keep Texas History Weird'' my goal is to promote lively discussion as well as to be informative on the subject of Texas State and Local Government. I have lived in Texas for three years, moving from Kentucky so I could be closer to family and friends. I was born in Tampa Florida where I resided for 14 years. I am happy to tell you my voter registration card reads "republican". I have been conservative in my views as long as I can remember. However, I am welcome to all views, ideas, and suggestions. I look forward to having many discussions and maybe even some debates with you. I am currently enrolled in Texas State and Local Government 2306. I enrolled in this class because I want a deeper understanding of the state that I live in and the unique machine that is Texas Politics. Also, my invovlement in politics is an exstensive one. Growing up my father was involved in politics in Tampa Florida, from an early age I was introduced to local government. Furthermore, I have voted in every single election since I turned 18, that includes national, state, and local elections.
