Introduction	As a designer and creator of functional wares I concern my self with ergonomics and constraints centered on utility, however, this is not a means to an end. My basic forms are a blend of eastern and western traditions. In the great melting pot that is America I try to stay true to cultural ties, but as a child of the internet / globalization age I see all cultures as earth-culture, as my culture. I use and bend the formal language of functional objects to speak about and critique the world I live in. I want my forms to express the dynamic nature of self, sometimes soft and shy, sometimes loud and abrasive.
