Introduction	Hello! Welcome to my Government class blog let me give some of my political background... According to my Political Ideology Quiz I fall under the category of Social conservatives. This wasn't very surprising, seeing as some of my political influences are Condoleezza Rice, Rush Limbaugh, and my favorite Ronald Reagan. Experience wise I have had the wonderful opportunity of visiting DC this past Spring and while there I had the pleasure of touring Congressman John Carter's office and participating in the Tea Party Protest on Tax Day, April 15, outside the Washington Monument lawn. Being completely truthful I am taking this Government Class so that next year (my senior year) will have a lighter load of classes. However I will admit I would like to learn more about the way our national government runs, and to become a better informed voting citizen. I hope to leave this class with a better understanding of politics and current policies at work in our federal government. On the quizzes we were to take, I was pleased with my two scores. On the Civics Quiz I received a 78.79 %, and on the Current Events Quiz, 10 /12 right. Both were above average, not bad for a high school Senior!
