| Introduction | I've known Jesus my whole life. I "officialy" gave my life to Him when I was 6 because I lost a tooth and thinking my life was over, wanted to make sure I could go to heaven. I grew up in a great family and considered myself a Christian, but my faith wasn't my own until the summer after 9th grade when I went on a missions trip to Jamaica. God revealed Himself to me there like never before . I thought He was showing me the depth of His love, but He told me it was only a drop in the ocean. My goal is to know and possess as much of that love by the end of my life as possible. At the 2007 Desperation Conference, I committed to waiting on God daily. No longer out of duty, but because I wanted to be someone whose life came out of the overflow of time with Jesus. I spent the rest of my high school years pursuing the only One worth pursuing. In spring of 2009 I joined the Burn Internship and met some incredible people who taught me that Jesus-lovers are some of the craziest, most fun people you'll ever meet. I strive to live by the Desperation Vow: Passionate Pursuit, Diligent Prayer, Consecrated Heart, Focused Life. This is my blog. Enjoy. |
