Introduction	I found a love of training when I was 16 and volunteering at my local zoo. In my early 20s I adopted my first dog and took an internship at the Smithsonian National Zoo within months of each other. I discovered the world of training through both experiences. My life in the training world began with a lovely bird named Romeo who was deemed "a troublemaker." I also gained valuable experience with cheetahs along with birds while there. When I moved back I didn't jump straight into dog training. It took time working with my own dog to realize a passion I had inside for it. Now I can't imagine my life without training!
