| Introduction | I spent my entire childhood in the Washington, DC area and headed to NYC for college, majoring in the incredibly useful combo of Ancient Greek and Latin. I turned nomadic in my twenties, being a student, Latin teacher, petroleum technician, and refugee advocate, respectively, and living in places ranging from Albany to England to Egypt. I met my husband while doing a short volunteer stint in India in 2007. Married in 2009, we moved to Cairo for our first international posting four weeks later. Two years on, we find ourselves in southwestern Norway. I love languages and getting to know new cultures from the inside, so this is a pretty sweet deal for me. |
