| Introduction | I am 46 years old and I have left home. I am always advocating that folks should try something different, so I am doing just that. I am travelling the UK in a Hobby motorhome with Finbar my fabulous Jack Russell. He came second hand from a rescue centre and is my constant companion.He allows me to talk out loud in public and not be thought of as a mad bag woman. I am also taking my bicycle, roller blades and snorkelling kit including wetsuit. I love to write, so this blog seems appropriate. I am looking forward to having the space and time for just me and being spontaneous. I have grown up girls Ebony and Cara, with their older sister Leah providing grandchildren. I am known as Omi Su, I came up with Omi as I love that like me, it isn't run of the mill. I am due home later in the year to deliver Cara's first baby and am excited about that. I intend to see everyone I haven't seen in an age and spend lots of time on my own.I aim to catch up with those I have lost touch with, to write, to experience loads of new things with new people, to appreciate myself and to see parts of the UK I have never seen and to revisit some that I enjoyed and want to see again. |

| Favorite books | I hope to get chance to re-read Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet and have borrowed the sequel to it. I love cathedrals and it's all about the original master masons, mixed in with passion, murder and the corruption of the church. A must read, but make time as it will have you gripped. |
