| Introduction | i'm "delilah" because i stole the name from a song (easier than getting a song written about you). (and YES it was THAT song that everyone wants to kick in the crotch these days, but this started long ago, in vegas, as a joke.) i can be very articulate, but i also can start sentences and finish them days later sometimes... with conviction... at inappropriate times... i can be the authoritative "go to girl," all professional-like but jump on the back of a garbage truck in nyc w/ minor goading from my girlfriend. i can go online and study calculus for fun while bored, read up on all the latest injustices in the world, and yet can get excited or distracted like a 2-year-old when i see something "exciting" like a can of red bull, or if i imagine getting indian food. i can be so wrapped up in my work that i don't notice things like hours going by... or people... yet i also sometimes envy the 7 second attention span of fish. i sometimes bark at dogs, but only if they start it. |
