If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?
Easy, I can switch from funny to serious at drop of a hat. That's actually a skill that can get you in trouble sometimes. Besides "poop deck" is far easier to say with a straight face than something like "fecal material platform." Sorry if that offends anyone, but it is true.
