| Introduction | A community activist and politician for over forty five years, Walter Mulkewich was an elected member of municipal Council for 21 years from 1976 to 1997, the last six of those years as Mayor of Burlington. A New Democrat, he has been an NDP candidate and activist. He has been active in leadership roles in many community organizations and his church. He has had successful careers in education as a high school teacher, in business as a sales and marketing coordinator, and in social services as an administrator. Walter continues to live life to the fullest, still trying to define the questions we need to ask to make sense of life. |
