| Introduction | It is so hard to say what I do because I do so much it is extremely hard to put a label on it. I was once introduced as "A Good All Around Man" and I will stick with that for now. I am multi-talented and do a lot of things well. But, some ot the things I do, in no particular order, are: TV/Radio Talk Host - Both live and studio, Executive Producer, DJ, Announcer, Drummer, Writer, College Teacher in both Radio/TV/Production and Speech areas, Consultant, Businessman, Photographer, and whatever else the bidders with the highest dollars convince me to do! I am from Ohio which is not exactly the show business capital of the world. I learned at a young age to know this business inside out. I have seen a lot of egocentrics attempt to specialize and then fall into severe depression when their one and only gig falls through--as is so often the case. I teach my students to become versatile. When one thing does not work out, try another. Learn all facets of the industry and you will always stay employed. Do not enter the business to simply have fun. It is too complex for all that. Enter it because you have a passion for it and truly feel as though you can make a difference. |
