| Introduction | Hello. My name is Vicky Pleydell . I am a GP and have worked at Harewood practice on Catterick Garrison for the last 25 years. Can't believe it has been so long! I am now Clinical Chief Officer of Hambleton Richmondshire and Whitby CCG, which is a new and challenging role.As a CCG we believe we can make a difference and improve the quality of care for people who live here. We do this by working closely with the public and those working at the front line in health and social care. We work hard to embed our values in everything we do:Integrity, Transparency, Collaboration, Focus, Action, Energy, Courage. Not just words! I live in Richmond and although I grew up down south I consider Yorkshire to be my home. I feel so lucky to have found my way here all those years ago. When I get time off I love to spend time with my 4 kids, who are now all grown up and scattered across the country. I love cooking, walking, pottering around my garden and am addicted to Zumba (although I am sure there is more enthusiasm than rhythm in my moves!). My views are my own. |
