About me

Introduction Travel has consumed my life. My high school was renowned for our 'Immersion' program, in which for 4 weeks, students studied abroad. For me, that entailed going to NYC, meeting members of the writing community and later writing in Vermont, immersing myself in Spanish culture for 3 weeks, and finally, traveling through India and Nepal for a month. Denison University was the next step, located in the small 'village' of Granville, Ohio. After my 2nd year, I studied in Santiago de Chile for two months. To this day, I still claim that it was the most phenomenal experience of my life. And finally, here I am, spending four months in Copenhagen! If nothing else, all of my travels have enabled me to be a more global citizen; however, I like to believe that it's something more than that. Traveling has allowed me to take a foreign perspective on any issue that is thrown my way, comparing and contrasting the 'American' lifestyle to others. Traveling allows far more insight than a text book does. Hopefully, through blogging about such experiences, I will inspire others to study abroad, travel, and immerse oneself into an entirely foreign culture.

This is our decision to live fast and die young.
