| Introduction | Welcome! My name is Tessa, I am the wife to a great husband, and the mother to two of the most AWESOME teenage young men. I’ve decided to embark on a new adventure this New Year, and so I invite you to come and join me on this journey. It was while I was working at a women’s fitness facility that I realized and developed a passion to set women free from the lies that keep us from becoming the women we are destined to be. My main purpose for this blog is to replace those lies with words that may not seem true to us right now, but are still the TRUTH of who we are. Encouraging words will heal, and then release us to do the same for other people. You may have noticed I have used the words “us” and “we” to describe my target audience. That’s because I am including myself on this healing journey. My hope is that this blog will be a safe forum for us to learn to use our words to encourage EACH OTHER, because I’m FAR from being immune from the barbs of lies. I am…..well….YOU!
