| Introduction | My name is Jeni Williams, I am a happily married wife, and mother of a 5 year old. I started this blog to help me reach my journey of homeschooling my 5 year old Daughter. My top reason for wanting to homeschool my daughter is that I really enjoy being with her and I want to watch her grow.I want to be the one that sees her face light up when she learns something new and is able connect those with other facts or ideas she already knows. Other reasons include, focusing on our family environment, being able to control what she is taught as well as what other kids expose her to. The reason I am not yet homeschooling is because my DH is not 'on board' with it yet. He seems to feel the social aspect is important and I will post more later about that. But for now I will post ideas and resources that I like and will be using for "after schooling", also curriculum I want to use until I get my wish. |
