| Introduction | Stuart T. Noble is a second year graduate student at the University of Southern Denmark's Center for American Studies. He holds a BA in History from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His main academic interests are American intellectual history, populist and progressive movement histories, social and political theory, and postmodern social and cultural movements. Noble’s special passion is the relationship between technology, civil society and democracy. His most current project involves exploring political theory models of online political activism and his master’s thesis will examine the intellectual traditions of former Vice President Al Gore, Jr. Stuart's long-term plans include pursuing doctoral research, university teaching, perhaps a government or think tank assignment, and a secret passion for journalism. |
