Introduction	I'm Carmen Cook, consummate daydreamer, and one of those people who always seems to be plotting an adventure of one type or another. I grew up in Montana, where the characters are as big as the mountains and inspiration lives around each river bend. After backpacking around Western Europe and earning my degree in Theatre, I headed west to find some adventures in the big city (I sound like one of those children's books where the mouse travels to the big city meeting friends along the way). I met my husband at a Seahawks game and decided to throw down some roots here in the Pacific Northwest. I now have two boys, who seem to have inherited my love of story telling as well as my crazy sense of adventure, and a fifty pound boxer who is convinced he's a lap dog. Admittedly, life is sweet. I guess that's why I've decided to start writing Romantic Suspense so I can torture and maim to my hearts content.
