Introduction	I love my family, friends, and home, but I am excited about the doors God has opened for me. I will be leaving on July 29 for a 5 month venture to Zimbabwe. I will be working in Sanyati Mission Hospital, as well as in smaller, more rural clinics and orphanages. I plan to stay with families and live the life that they live. I anticipate this including a great deal of sodza (a staple food, rather akin to grits...made of ground maize) and a much simpler lifestyle. I am truly looking forward to those things and many others! I pray that in preparing, venturing, and returning from this journey, I will learn more about myself, draw closer to Christ, and learn to better love and appreciate His people everywhere. I will try to keep this blog updated throughout my journey. I hope you will check back often, and keep me and the people I am serving in your prayers.
