Introduction	Born in 1968 in Santa Rosa California, Rob Wilson was raised in Southeast Idaho; a short drive from Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. He attended Ricks College on an art scholarship for two years then traveled the art show circuit with his wife, Pam. He cut his artistic teeth painting Americana and wildlife in watercolor, winning a 1st place, Watercolor and best of show, mixed media at the prestigious George Phippin memorial show in Prescott Arizona. He opened “WildOak” a gallery/frameshop in 1991 which he sold in 2000 when he moved his family to Utah. He has moved on to painting in Oils, painting mostly figuratively, portraits and on occasion, illustration work. He lives in South Jordan, Utah with his Wife and 5 children.
