| Introduction | A former president of Pride March Victoria, Dean is an active member of Melbourne’s thriving Gay Leather Community, Dean has emceed the inaugural Mr. Leather Australia/New Zealand contest and was the marketing and media spokesperson for Melbourne Leather Pride. (08/09) Expressing sexuality and diversity in a positive light has become a passion of Dean’s and he has become a spokesperson and advocate for the Adult Industry in Australia. Dean is also an accomplished photographer. Exhibitions of Dean’s have included ‘Seeing Is Believing’–Midsumma 2006. ‘Behind Beyond’-Melbourne Leather Pride Festival 2008. ‘EXIT’–Midsumma 2009. Since July 2009, Dean has produced Hide & Seek, the first ‘Adults Only’ program to air on Australia’s only GLBTI radio Station JOY 94.9 Together with co-host James Findlay, the show explores sex, sexuality and how it shapes our concept of Self. |
