| Introduction | The name for the blog, "Broken Road" comes from a Jeremy Camp song, "Walk By Faith". The chorus goes likes this: "Well I will walk by faith, Even when I cannot see. Well because this broken road Prepares Your will for me." Even as a Christian, it's hard for me to understand all of the things that have happened in my life to make my journey so much more difficult than I think it should be. Yet, I continue to remind myself that God has a plan for me, and that I wouldn't be me if it weren't for my collection of experiences, whether they've been welcome or not. I write Broken Road because I'm special, but not entirely unique. I'm special because I'm a child of God, but I'm still human. And I can't help but think that God has provided me with the broken road I've traveled so that I can help others who may be experiencing some of the same pains, pot holes and persecutions. |
