Introduction	Occasional musings from Haliburton Hill, just outside of Victoria, BC. I live here with my husband Harry and our two Border Collies. We're empty nesters now as our son Jamie is at UBC. I started blogging about our winter trips to Mexico and the habit stuck.
Interests	reading, border collies, gardening, photography, flyball, agility, drawing, travel (especially to warm climates), movies, gardening, cooking, canine freestyle dancing, painting (walls and canvasses), spiritual wondering, beach walking.
Favorite Music	African singing, world music, folk music, jazz, good old 50s songs, 60s music, guitar solos, Mozart's concertos, Kate Wolf, Karen Savoca, Jennifer Warnes, Leonard Cohen, etc. etc.
Favorite Books	Animal Dreams, well anything by Barbara Kingsolver.... Oh really there are just too many to list. I love fiction but also enjoy reading nonfiction about our world today.
