Introduction	The title of this blog is a nod to one of the more ridiculous ideas my defective brain has managed to hit on: namely that I would die aged 19. An arbitrary figure towards which I careered with nihilistic gusto, the tick of the time bomb labelled 19 was – until I reached it – the rhythm to which I lived my life. Somewhat predictably, since not dying (in spite of my best efforts) at the prescribed age, and instead beginning the ongoing battle of wills with my brain which I am now recording for your extra-curricular perusal, I have found that I subconsciously measure time in the years that have passed since that date.
