Introduction	Hello. My name is Melissa. The story behind this blog begins on the last day of the year 2014. As I did a reflection on the year that would soon come to an end, I came to the conclusion that I had not spent as much time as I would have liked to with God. I do not mean going to church or attending a bible study group. What I refer to is alone and undisturbed time with my Creator. I realized that we as humans make time with people we care about--our parents, a sister or brother, friends or a significant other. So why should our relationship with Christ be any different? As I was making a list of my New Year's resolutions, which are pretty much the same as last year's, there was really one goal that popped out of the page. The only one that truly mattered. To have a closer relationship with God. This is an account of my journey with Christ in hopes to strengthen my relationship with Him. I hope and pray that this page will be a blessing to whoever comes across it and may inspire others to spend time with their Creator. God bless you all!
