Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
While soap makes an excellent substrate for whittled sculpture as it is an easy material to carve, the durability of the resulting object is lacking. Wood, in the form of a whistle, recorder, or flute is both pleasing to play and will last for generations to come.
