| Introduction | Born and raised on a small family farm in Iowa (grateful for that), attended University of Iowa as a journalism major, got creeped out by journalism majors, dropped out and hopped a bus for San Francisco, never looked back. Worked professionally on the musical stage in the '80s, mostly on the West Coast. Active on the jazz scene here in LA, back to school two years full time at LACC as music major. Studied piano 7 years with Jane Getz, then the late Joyce Collins, recorded with Page Cavanaugh, gigged with Anita O'Day and tons of great LA musicians in every club in town. Now booking live music and co-managing a well known Latin bandleader. |
