| Introduction | Gordon Hattersley III is an entrepreneur dedicated to social action, conservation and non-profit organizations. He is Founder/CEO of Evergreen Earth, a San Diego based family of companies devoted to alternative energy focused development, renewable energy and sustainability. As owner and operator of Hattersley Hotels and Hattersley Group, his longstanding commitment to organization, development, and facility excellence has been recognized by many Industry awards and from various community organizations. His development and operation of a five-star, Five Diamond Resort in California is regarded as an industry standard. Hattersley's renovation and restoration of the historic Britt Scripps mansion received an Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation and holds a five-star rating. His nonprofit work includes fundraising and development for many local charities. Most recently, he founded The Evergreen Project, an innovative non-profit for research, education, advocacy, and grants focused on self-sustaining energy production technologies. TEP is currently creating a pilot curriculum program for San Diego Unified School District as a national prototype for science education. |
