| Introduction | I've been involved with Real Estate since 1970 when I read that very famous book by Albert Nickerson: "How to make a million dollars in Real Estate in your spare time starting with $1,000." Of the 50 or real estate books I've accumulated over the years, this is still the best one. My real estate background is diverse. First I started buying, selling and trading real estate in the Chicago area while still a full time consultant with Deloitte and Touche. Then I started a real estate development firm to rehab apartments and convert them to condos. In my spare time I was on a committee that setup the first computerized MSL on the North Shore of Chicago. I was deeply involved in protecting property rights. I organized the Evanston Apartment Owner's Association with 500 dues paying members. We took real estate issues to the Illinois Supreme Court. Now I am back in real estate by running WWW.REDN.Biz and working this Blog. |
