| Introduction | Marion is a signature member of the Cincinnati Art Club, specializing in pet portraits and landscapes in both oil and pastel. She is also a member of OPAS, the Ohio Plein Air Society. Marion has a Bachelors of Fine Arts (Advertising) from Columbus College of Art and Design plus a Masters of Art Therapy from Wright State University. Since graduating she has taken many workshops with nationally known artists to increase her painting skills. Marion has also traveled both nationally & internationally (France and Italy) to paint plein air. Her work is in corporate and private collections. Marion's paintings may be seen several time a year during the Essex Studios Art Walks. (see www.essexstudios.com for details) Marion has been married to Rob Mayer (since 1984). She lives in Cincinnati, OH. |
