Introduction	Coffee, sewing, and books...that just about sums me up. I crave coffee like an imprisoned man craves freedom. Sewing fulfills my need to create. Since the birth of my daughter, my projects consist of baby items. Before that, I designed purses, skirts, and embellished clothing. Books are essential. The well-known poet, Emily Dickinson said, "Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill". How true, how true!
