Introduction	Hopefully this is the most boring part of the blog. I have a B.S. degree in Biology from what was then California Lutheran College, (it is now a University). I started LAPD in October 1980. I made it through the Academy and began my career in Devonshire division. I had a great time with some crazy (seriously) guys teaching me. I met my wife while working graveyard, and she was working at the ER as a nurse. (Age old attraction, cops and nurses). We were married in December 1981, and by September of 1983 we had our first son, Taylor. One thing led to another and Palm Springs hired me in January of 1987, and for the past 23 years I have had a wild ride with the men and women of this Department. The years have blessed us with two more sons,Austin and Harrison, all three of which I could not be prouder of, and my wife and I are coming up on our 29th anniversary. My sister-in-law, Melissa, actually suggested I start a blog, so here I am. I hope you have found a place you will like to re-visit each week, and we can learn and grow together.
