About me

Introduction Skomer Island is a National Nature Reserve, managed by the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales - with much assistance from the "Friends of Skokholm and Skomer". The island is a breeding site for approximately half of the world's population of Manx Shearwater. The island has a rich cultural heritage thanks to the pioneering research work of R. M. Lockley in the 1930s. Visit www.welshwildlife.org for further information.
