| Introduction | I am a Catholic wife working full-time but wanting to be a stay at home mom. We have been married since 1996 and unable to have children due to stage IV endometriosis diagnosed in 2002. We were approved to adopt a waiting child in 2010 and got our foster license as well. We spent 11 months of 2011 fostering two boys, ages 5 and 3. On Leap Day 2012 we got another placement; a 5 year old boy who is just a complete doll. We finalized O's adoption June 13, 2013. Being a mother is all that I dreamt it would be and more! The majority of the dreams are amazing but a few are borderline nightmares. That's foster/adoption for ya. Now, I'm trying to keep my sense of humor and my wits about me all at the same time! I don't know what the future holds but I hope it brings more and more children to my home! |
