Introduction	I am a wife and a mother of a teenager. I came into teaching when I realized how much I loved working with kids as a volunteer parent. Teaching is my third career after a stint in corporate America and in social and human services. The pay decreased with each job change but the satisfaction increased proportionately. I wouldn't trade this career for anything, bunions and all.
