| Introduction | I am proud to be one of 57 National Board Certified Teachers in our NNPS school system. I was honored to be awarded the title of Elementary School Teacher of the Year for Newport News Public Schools in 2010. I created the ARL (Achievers 'R' Leaders) program for 2nd, 4th and 5th grade students five years ago. (Over 130 students were enrolled in ARL last year alone!) I have taught kindergarten for over 20 years. |
