| Introduction | What do you do when you turn 30 and start questioning the direction of your life? If you're bold, you probably sell all earthly possessions and set off on a Buddha-like quest for truth ... or numb yourself with piles of cocaine. If you're me, you start a blog. I've been a writer at places you might recognize -- Time Out New York, Maxim, Wired, Sports Illustrated -- and people occasionally flatter me with effusive praise like "I read that thing you did" or "You're kinda funny."
