| Introduction | Writer on Examiner.com as the Detroit Substance Abuse Examiner. I am a former substance abuse counselor, and paralegal. My passion is helping people understand substance abuse/addiction, relapse, recovery, prevention, intervention, and related issues. I am also a recovering addict since 2004, after a 36 year addiction to heroin, and spending 20+ years of that in prison as a direct result of my addiction. I love helping people, and I do this with my writing, as well as via email with concerned and desperate parents seeking guidance and help for their child regarding drug abuse, or addiction. |
| Interests | Helping others, writing, reading, photography, pastel drawing, Internet, gaming, fishing, and a lot of other things |
| Favorite movies | The 5th Element, Total Recall, Predator, Gone With the Wind, and many others. |
| Favorite music | Classic rock, oldies, some rap, and maybe even a country song, or three. |
| Favorite books | My own. Wrote a book titled Crash Test Addict that I am trying to get published. May self-publish in the near future. It is a memoir/self-help book I wrote while in prison, and finished on the streets. However, life goes on, and I am still adding experiences to it. One day, I hope to get it published. |
When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
No, I don't worry about drowning, I worry about seeing something bigger than I am with teeth.
