Gender Female
Occupation married mom, word wrangler, event coordinator

Introduction As I go about my workaday life I get an idea about something. I play with the idea. I toss it back and forth and throw it at the wall like cooked spaghetti to see if it sticks. If it does, then I write about it. Sometimes the idea triggers a memory, and a story from my past finds its way into the idea...more often than not.
Interests The arts, reading in the bath, cooking, conversation, getting enough exercise and making myself useful.
Favorite Movies Bye Bye Blues, About a Boy, A Simple Curve, War of the Buttons, Once, Into the West, Jane Austen novels adapted for screen, Babette's Feast, Harry Potter (the books are pretty good too), Hot Fuzz, Bill Murray movies
Favorite Music Neil Young, Mark Knopfler, Feist, Miles Davis, Jacques Loussier Trio, Haydn, Erik Satie, Chieftains, Waterboys, Mumford and Sons artists with names ending in the word Lamb
Favorite Books I'll just list favourite authors: Jane Austen, George Eliot, Rumer Godden, Mary Stewart, Susan Musgrave, Robertson Davies, Michael Ondaatje, Douglas Coupland, Shel Silverstein, E.B.White, Patrick Lane, Charles Dickens and my dad. Books books books -so many books and so little time.

Your superpower is that you smell like dandelions whenever someone lies. How will you maintain your secret identity?

I will wear ropes and ropes of braided garlic. That'll mask the dandelion smell and also keep pesky vampires at bay.
